Namaste,
I am Sanna, World Music Artiste, Singer, Lyricist, Author, Music and Motivational Coach, from the mystical land of India.
My Journey in Music began in my early school days as a participant in school choir. Although I was never deeply interested in Music, I often found myself sneaking into the school music room just to touch the Piano and strike a few keys if possible.
It was only at the age of 13 that as I was humming a song; there was a moment of Epiphany. In that moment I received my calling, with absolutely no justifiable reason or resources; I knew that Music is where I wanted to be for the rest of my life. There was not an iota of doubt, no questions asked, no discussions with anyone, I had decided in that moment that I had to Sing and pass on Joy and Peace to the World.
Years later I took up learning formal Indian Classical Music on the Guitar as singing was then a taboo where I came from. Learning to sing formally happened much later.
Over the years I began teaching music in order to become self reliant and pay for my further education in music.
Life brought me across one of the biggest influences of my life, my Music mentor, a genius in his subject and a task master. I learnt Western Music under his Guidance for 6 years, and meanwhile also took up lessons in voice Culture, Choral singing, Piano and so on.
Although my early influences were only Indian Cinema Music and Indian Classical Music, my Breakthrough was when I met my Spiritual Guru; Mahatria Ra - diviner of Infinitheism.
It was in his sessions that I was introduced to such a rich plethora of Music, that it jolted me. I saw hundreds of people cry out of love, happiness, and find their depth through the medium of music.
That's when the course of my creative expressions took a plunge and I knew that I had to use my talents to inspire, to help people find their inner voice, to reach the depths of their being.......
That's how Composing New Age and Meditative Music, penning Meaningful songs, Motivational Writing, Educational facilitation, Music Academy, one at a time became a part of my creative talents.
I think it has been a long journey of learning and preparing and now its time to give back to the world. Looking forward to enrich the world with my creative contributions.
